First "Best Quality Improvement Award By Geely"

Wuhu, China, April 25, 2018. End of March, BENTELER Automotive Wuhu received the award for “Best Quality Improvement in 2017” handed out by the Chinese OEM Geely Automobile. The award honors automotive suppliers who meet high quality requirements and improve remarkably with regard to product and process quality. In the course of its Annual Supplier Conference, Geely recognized the exceptional improvements achieved by BENTELER Automotive during the launch of the Geely CX11 Hot Forming project.

The award is an acknowledgement of the company’s continuous commitment to high quality standards and customized system solutions that make the difference. Manuel Yamada, Quality Director of the Asia/Pacific region, outlines the importance of the Geely award: “This was the first time a plant in the Asia/Pacific region implemented this type of hot forming process. Despite all challenges, we managed to launch the Geely CX11 Hot Forming project flawlessly with zero line disruptions. As a result, we have received very positive feedback from our customer.”
